- advice I'd give to new candidates is to not worry or stress. Everything works out for the best. Moving abroad is daunting and scary, but is the best experience. Make sure to socialise and have fun with your colleagues and take every opportunity that presents itself. Keep on top of study and don't let it build up.

And it doesn't just stop when you get into the university, they help with everything from getting to Pleven from the airport and continuously check in on students to see if they are settling in and are doing okay. Also give advice about exams and professors that you wouldnt get anywhere else. :)

- I found Hasan contact in the uni-website and he helped me to find an apartment, to preapare my documents and he is still really present now everytime I need. I think he is probably the best choice because he knows literally everybody and everything in the city and can help you a lot.
-It was not easy to adapt at the beginning because everything was new and the coulture was different but there were many international students like me and I got lucky to find friends that supported me.
-The attendance in the uni is mandatory so you will spend much of your time in class or in the lecture hall. The exams are going to have almost everytime a written and oral part and you will have the chance to repeat them two or three times if you can't pass right away.
-Pleven is a small reality, but there are clubs and restaurants where people always go to have fun, there are nice gyms, a couple of shopping centers and Kaylaka Park where people go to have a walk.
-Coming here is not going to be easy, you need to have a strong soul and be ready to adapt and leave your family and friends. But is a good opportunity that you should consider if you really want to study medicine. I would suggest you to find an agency like I did with Hasan to help you navigate through this new experience.

- I went to uni for a week before quarantine and the staff and professors were friendly. They understood my situation with arriving a few weeks late because of visa issues. Pleven is a nice little city. Easy to get around . Uni christian group is amazing. They were the best to approach and get help from.

- To the new candidates I would advice you to know that moving to Bulgaria & starting medical studies is a big change that won't be easy. So, know that you are not alone and that many of us are around to help you. My biggest advice is to ask questions if you need help!
